Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of: communicative strategies of English-language business and academic discourse, modern technologies for teaching English, grammatical and linguistic features of English in artistic and journalistic styles, features of professional English, sociocultural features of English as a means of scientific and business communication in international projects, the use of online platforms and digital environments for pedagogical activities and professional self-improvement Abilities: to use communicative strategies of the English language of business and academic discourse, the English language of artistic and journalistic styles, the professional direction of the use of technologies, approaches, methods, principles, means (including electronic) of teaching English in high school, create texts of academic and business discourse on organising teacher's training in international projects
Course content
The content of the program consists of the topics and theoretical issues of the programs of the educational disciplines "Communicative strategies of English-language business and academic discourse", "Organization of the work of a teacher-philologist in international projects", "Information technologies and educational and methodological support of the process of learning languages and literatures in high school", which is included in the EP "Theory and methodology of teaching Ukrainian language and literature, foreign language in high profession-oriented school" This program is focused on the formation of the ability to solve complex specialised tasks and practical problems in the field of secondary education, requires students to master a foreign (English) language at level not lower than C1, perform practical tasks of organising foreign language teaching in a high profession-oriented school.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Students pass the exam in written and oral forms (2 written tasks and an oral answer). The duration of the written part is 120 minutes and the oral answer is 30 mins.
Assessment methods and criteria
The examination card consists of 3 questions of a theoretical and practical nature. First task (interpretation analysis of authentic English text with preceeding lexical and grammar tasks) 40 points, second task (writing an argumentative essay) - 30 points, third task (interview on the topic) - 30 points. The maximum number of points in the exam is 100. The minimum number of points for a positive assessment is 60.
