Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. to know the key provisions of the theoretical foundations of geographic disciplines taught during 1-5 semesters (geology, geomorphology, hydrometeorology, soil science, biogeography, etc.). In particular, those related to understanding the state of the environment. As well as special disciplines, in particular the basics of expertise, Geoecological expertise, environmental monitoring, landscape ecology, etc. 2. to be able to apply the principles, approaches and methods of learning the geographical organization of territories and the space of existence of modern landscapes; 3. to possess methods of geographical analysis and synthesis, basic knowledge of territory mapping, methods of statistical and mathematical analysis
Course content
The study of the discipline allows you to gain knowledge of the theoretical and methodological geoecological foundations of SEO and OVD and their knowledge in connection with the legislation of Ukraine in the field of geoecological risk assessment for the implementation of territorial development strategies and management projects. This knowledge is necessary for students to understand the environmental policy of the state, to take into account environmental priorities in the implementation of production activities, to competently carry out ecological expert work. Students' familiarity with the main provisions and procedures of the SEA and ATS is necessary for their development as highly qualified specialists who possess a wealth of knowledge in the field of functional relationships between human economic activity and components of natural ecosystems, are able to organize environmentally safe activities of economic objects and promote harmonious natural-economic-social organization of the territories of cities, united territorial communities, regions. Sections of the discipline on the methodology of SEO and OVD provide for the study of methodological approaches to the practical implementation of geoecological assessment (analytical research of the content of the main types of pollution in soil, atmospheric air and natural water bodies, etc.).
