1. successful mastering of the disciplines "Meteorology", "Topography", "Soil science", "Biogeography", "Geomorphology", "Cartography", "Basics of geoecology", "Basics of GIS", "Landscape science", "Historical landscape science", "Landscape ecology", "Landscape research methods" and others. 2. to determine the principles and factors of landscape differentiation of the earth's surface; systems of taxonomic units of regional and typological landscape complexes; 3. understand the consequences of anthropogenic influence on modern landscapes; peculiarities of the landscape approach in optimizing the interaction between nature and society; 4. be able to apply methods of landscape analysis of territories; 5. have the skills of landscape mapping and basic GIS tools.

The range of theoretical and applied principles of modern landscape planning and design is highlighted, especially those related to research into the aesthetic arrangement of the human habitat. Features of the state, structure, dynamics and development of modern landscapes, which are reflected in their appearance, the influence of aesthetic properties and qualities of the environment on a person, the features of a person's perception of the environment in which he is, methods and techniques of aesthetic arrangement of the landscape, etc. are considered.
