1. To know the key provisions of the theoretical foundations of geographic disciplines that are taught during 1-2 semesters (geology, geomorphology, hydrometeorology, soil science, biogeography, etc.). In particular, those that relate to understanding the state of the environment; 2. To be able to apply the principles, approaches and methods of geographical knowledge organization of territories and living space of modern landscapes; 3. Possess methods of geographical analysis and synthesis, basic knowledge mapping of territories, methods of statistical and mathematical analysis

Studying the discipline allows you to gain knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geoecological expertise and legislation of Ukraine in the field of geoecological assessment. This knowledge is necessary students to understand the environmental policy of the state, consideration environmental priorities in the implementation of production activity, competent carrying out ecological expert works. Students' familiarity with the main ones provisions of the geoecological assessment is necessary for their formation as highly qualified specialists who would possess a wealth of knowledge in the field of functional interrelationships between human economic activity and components of natural ecosystems, were able to organize ecologically safe production. Sections of the discipline on geoecological-expert methodology activities involve the study of methodological approaches to the practical implementation of geoecological assessment, analytical research of the main content types of pollution in the soil, atmospheric air and natural water bodies. Carried out on the basis of the indicated theoretical and methodological approaches is competent ecological expert assessment of the ecological situation in the region is a necessary condition prevention of the adverse impact of anthropogenic activity on the condition natural environment and human health.
