Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in the fields of the subject area of ​​geography according to specialization. P13. Adhere to moral and ethical aspects of research, intellectual and academic integrity, professional code of conduct. P15. Know and explain changes in the geographical envelope from the standpoint of the concept of sustainable development. P16. Demonstrate a statesmanship and citizenship position in professional activities, use communication skills and technologies, initiate the introduction of communication management methods in practice, be able to realize one's rights and responsibilities as a member of society.

Full-time form

1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of Geoecology", "Biogeographyfiya", "Economic and social geography of the world". 2. To know the main worldview concepts of world development; effects of these threats to Ukraine, the essence of global and regional geoecological pro- a problem of the modern world; understand systemic approaches to their mitigation from the the role of the main population groups. 3. To be able to realize the values ​​of civil (free democracy social) of society and the need for its sustainable development, to show character anthropogenic pressure in the system "man - society - nature", under conditions of nonsufficiency of information, find the necessary information on the Internet and analyze the received information. 4. Possess elementary skills of analyzing complex geoecological logical problems under the angle of economic and social factors; works with car- topographical materials and use of professional terminology.

The educational discipline is devoted to the study of global problems, the deepening of theoretical knowledge about the state of the world at the beginning of the third millennium, the formation of geoecological thinking and competencies in future specialists. Separate components of the discipline are the coverage of the complex nature of the climate change process and related problematic issues - desertification, loss of biodiversity, food resources, drinking water, and population migration. Lecture materials reveal the problems of demographic explosion, urbanization, pollution of the world ocean and inland seas, shortage of water resources and dangers associated with the circulation of toxic compounds and chemicals.
