            PRN 2. Confidently possess state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages. PRN Z. Apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information technologies, for successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of research in a specific philological field. PRN 4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PRN 5. To find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PRN 23.             Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            Interdisciplinary connections: Foreign language (Korean/Japanese); higher school pedagogy and teacher's pedagogical skills; method of teaching oriental languages in higher education. Students must possess FL at a level not lower than B2, as well as know the theory of teaching methods, be able to practically apply modern pedagogic methods, possess elementary skills: application of theoretical knowledge of teaching methods.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            Production (assistant) (english language) is by far an integral component of the educational process of students of the Institute of Philology and is mandatory among other disciplines in the structural and logical scheme of the educational and professional training program for specialists of the Institute of Philology. The proposed program contains recommendations and methodical materials for the organization and conducting of assistant practice for students of the 1st year of the master's degree at the Department of Languages and Literatures of the Far East and Southeast Asia of the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Pedagogical tasks are aimed at forming students' practical abilities and skills of organizing the educational process, as well as at consolidating the ability to analyze the obtained results with the subsequent possibility of their correction. The form of practice is full-time / on-line.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            1. Knowledge of programs, content, specialty textbooks and methods of teaching special subjects in higher education institutions. 2. Scientific and methodical level of educational and extracurricular work on the subject. 3. Scientific-methodological, research and creative work: a) participation in the work of meetings of teachers of the section, conferences, seminars, etc.; b) systematic analysis of one's practical activity and experience of educational and methodical work of the department; c) preparation of materials based on the results of assistant practice. The final grade for assistant practice is announced to the student during the defense of the practice at the department. According to the results of assistant practice, the student is assigned a differentiated credit with the grades "excellent", "good", "satisfactory", "unsatisfactory". The results of the assessment are entered in the examination report and displayed in the assessment books.
