Learning outcomes
P01. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of earth sciences. P04. To use information technologies, cartographic and geo-informational models in the field of Earth sciences, in particular in soil science. P08. Justify choices and use field and laboratory methods to analyze natural and anthropogenic systems and objects. P13. Be able to convey the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations and messages. P15. Be able to choose optimal methods and tools for research, data collection and processing.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Know the theoretical foundations of general geographic disciplines: "Fundamentals of general and historical geology", "Climatology with the basics of meteorology", "Physics with the basics of geophysics", "Physical and chemical processes in the hydrosphere", "Introduction to soil science", "Biogeography" and practical skills of field natural-geographic research - topographic, geological, geomorphological, meteorological, hydrological, soil science, biogeographic, landscape-ecological, acquired in educational practice after the first course. 2) To be able to observe and analyze the living space on different information slices, to determine the main problems and conflicts of nature use. 3) To have the skills of analysis of cartographic materials, materials of remote sensing of the Earth and construction of maps.
Course content
The content of the discipline reveals theoretical and applied issues of land management and urban planning. The structure of the discipline involves the study of the theoretical foundations of spatial planning and normative documents in the specialized field, as well as a review of the methods and practices of developing land management projects and urban planning documentation.
