Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Biogeography", "Meteorology", "Soil science", "Topography", "Meteorology", "Geology", "Hydrology and oceanology". 2. To know the structural components of the geographical envelope, the properties of individual geocomponents, and to characterize the peculiarities of their interaction at different spatio-temporal levels. To give a biogeographical description of territories, their flora and plant associations. 3. To know the peculiarities of the functioning of geosystems and the main physical and geographical processes that take place in them, the leading circulations of matter and energy, which are responsible for the functional differentiation of the geosphere. 4. To be able to work with general geographic, thematic and topographic map materials, use them for orientation on the terrain, route planning and characteristics of geocomponents.
Course content
Educational practice is devoted to the practical consolidation of skills and abilities of the biogeographical characteristics of the territory, the acquisition of skills in the application of field research methods, in particular for the study of plant cover, conducting observations, carrying out complex geographical descriptions, filling out field documentation; acquisition of competences of cooperation and work in a group, settlement of disagreements and conflicts; mastering the skills of making a geographical description and characterization, making generalizations and formulating conclusions, as well as drawing up expedition documentation and reporting materials.
