To be able to carry out studies of the pedosphere using quantitative methods of analysis. P10. To analyze the composition and structure of the pedosphere on different spatial and temporal scales. P11. Organize and summarize the materials of field and laboratory research. P13. Be able to communicate the results of activities to a professional audience and the general public, make presentations and messages. P15. Be able to choose optimal methods and tools for research, data collection and processing.

Successful mastering of the academic discipline "Soil Science".

Educational practice consists of three stages: 1) introductory and preparatory; 2) main - route; 3) cameral (final). At the first stage of practice, the teacher introduces students to the route and program of practice, gives them an introductory lecture, advises on the effective organization of expedition field research, conducts safety briefings, etc. Also, at the preparatory stage of the practice, a detailed route is developed and its comprehensive geographical analysis is carried out according to the defined plan, objects of field observations, places of laying soil sections are outlined.
