Operate with the knowledge, skills and abilities previously formed during the study of the "Foreign language (English)" course at the minimum sufficient level A1 according to CEFR
Course content
Study discipline "Foreign language (English)" for students of the Faculty of Geography, specialty 106 - Geography. Discipline is a must. It is taught in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 1st course in the amount of 420 hours. (14 ECTS credits) in particular: practical - 120 hours, independent work - 280 hours, consultations - 20 hours. The course includes 4 content modules and 4 modular control papers. The discipline ends with a test in the first semester, and an exam in the second semester. In the 7th semester of the 4th course in the amount of 30 hours. (1 ECTS credit) in particular: independent work - 15 hours, consultations - 15 hours. The discipline ends in the 7th semester with an exam. The learning model has a modular, cyclical and thematic nature.
