Learning outcomes
PRS 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages ​​orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PRS 10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PRS 11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the national, Korean and English languages. PRS 12. To analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that cause them. PRS 20. To perform oral and written two-way Korean-Ukrainian translation in compliance with linguistic and stylistic norms.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of basic terms and concepts of translation studies. Basic knowledge of the Korean language.Successful mastering of the discipline "Fundamentals of translation practice", "Тranslation practice".
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to provide students with systematic knowledge of the main types, forms and methods of translation. To teach students the practical skills of oral and written translation of the text from the original language into the target language, to understand logical meaning blocks and adequately transform them into meaning blocks of the translation language.
