Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes are presented in the work program of the discipline. The main ones are: PRS 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages ​​orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PRS 2. To work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, arrange, classify and systematize it. PRS 3. To organize the process of one's education and self-education. PRS 4. To understand the fundamental principles of being a person, nature, society. PRS 5. To cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PRS 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity.

Course content
The purpose of educational and production practice is the formation of students on the basis of the theoretical knowledge acquired at the Institute of Philology of practical abilities and skills of written and oral translation in real socio-economic conditions, as well as students' mastery of social competences.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The work of a translator from a foreign language: each student trainee must translate texts from a foreign language for 3 weeks in a volume of at least 10 pages. In particular, it is provided that students translate from foreign to native language and from native to foreign on economic, scientific and technical, socio-political texts. Students write a commentary on the whole translation, give the most interesting examples of lexical, grammatical and stylistic devices, and note the main difficulties of translation. There is a translation into Ukrainian, however, in the case of translation into Korean, the number of pages can be reduced to 8. Types of work are divided into three stages: active practice, drafting reporting documents, protection of reporting documents.
Assessment methods and criteria
.Criteria for evaluating communication and translation practice: Translation of texts (maximum 30 points); Concluding test documentation, practice diary, participation in the discussion of practice results (maximum 10 points), defence of reporting documentation (maximum 10 points). Evaluation criteria are presented in detail in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
