P01. Collect, process and analyze information in the branches of the subject area of ​​geographical sciences. P07. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope. P10. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and socio-geographic objects and systems (according to specialization) at different spatio-temporal levels. P14. Demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research of natural and socio-geographic objects, systems and processes in the geographic envelope under field and laboratory conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of such mandatory disciplines as "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Evolution of the Earth's biosphere", "Soil science", "Fundamentals of geoarchaeology", "Paleogeography of the anthropogen", "Methods of paleogeographic research", "Natural tourist attractions of the World". 2) the ability to read geological and geomorphological profiles of sediment sections at geoarchaeological sites, to interpret in an integrated form the results of natural and scientific research at these sites; to have basic initial methods of analytical research of deposits of geoarchaeological monuments; 3) possession of elementary skills of field geological, paleogeographic, soil science and geoarchaeological research.
Course content
The course includes two parts, the first of which is devoted to a detailed study of the periodization of the development of human material cultures, familiarization with the most significant geoarchaeological monuments of Ukraine and the World for each of the periods of the Stone Age as models for the organization of paleoecological research at new archaeological sites; the issue of the development of geotourist attractiveness of Paleolithic monuments on the territory of Ukraine. The second part is dedicated to the study of the most significant geoarchaeological monuments of Ukraine and the world for each age of the copper, bronze and early iron periods; studying on the basis of the most representative monuments of the variability of material cultures of the Holocene in different geographical regions of Ukraine and the world, revealed the heterochrony of the main events in the history of the development of ancient societies; their interrelationships and mutual influences caused by changes in natural factors (the latter are reflected in the results of natural and scientific research at the monuments).
