Learning outcomes
PRS 1. To communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in national and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication.
PRS 10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities.
PRS 11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the national, Korean and English languages.
PRS 12. To analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that cause them.
PRS 20.To perform oral and written two-way Korean-Ukrainian translation in compliance with linguistic and stylistic standards.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful study of the disciplines "Korean language (initial level)" of the course "Fundamentals of linguistics (synchrony)", "Fundamentals of linguistics (diachrony)".
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the theory and basic methods of translation.
Course content
The goal of the course is to highlight the main issues of the linguistic theory of translation, to determine the regularities of interlanguage relations. The purpose of the course is also the development and improvement of certain practical skills and abilities of translation activities with an emphasis on the field of international relations, which would ensure the right choice of translation strategy.
