P04. To use information technologies, cartographic and geo-information models in the branches of the subject area of ​​geographical sciences. P07. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope. P09. Conduct research on the geographic envelope and its spheres using quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis. P10. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and socio-geographic objects and systems (according to specialization) at different spatio-temporal levels.

Successful study of disciplines: "Topography", "Cartography", "Basics of GIS".

The program of the academic discipline consists of the following content modules: Module 1. "Theory, information base and software for GIS mapping." Module 2. "Techniques, algorithms and promising directions of GIS mapping."
