P06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the geographical envelope and its components.
P07. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope.
P10. Analyze the composition and structure of natural and socio-geographic objects and systems (according to specialization) at different spatio-temporal levels.
P12. Know and apply theories, paradigms, concepts and principles in the fields of the subject area of geography according to specialization.

            Course content

The subject of the discipline "Urbogeomorphology" is the study of the main features of the relief of the earth's surface (morphology, genesis, age, dynamics) and geomorphological processes (their genetic types, mechanisms of flow, patterns of distribution on Earth, etc.), their impact on the engineering and environmental safety of urban settlements. The modern structure of applied geomorphological studies of urban areas is considered: engineering-geomorphological analysis, ecological-geomorphological and landscape-architectural analysis. An ecological and geomorphological assessment of urban areas is given.
