P07. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the landscape sphere in general and geomorphosystems in particular. P09. Analyze the composition and structure of natural- and sociospheres, which are the part of the subject area of geomorphology and naturally cognitive tourism at different spatial and temporal levels. P10. Know the goals of sustainable development and opportunities for their achievement in the professional field of geomorphology and naturally cognitive tourism, including in Ukraine. P12. Apply skills of productive communication with consumers of nature tourism services.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of such disciplines as "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Lithological and petrographic basis of the topography of the earth's surface". 2) skills in working with the available resources of Google Earth and Google Maps.
Course content
The educational discipline consists of three content modules. The first is dedicated to the analysis of the general mechanisms of manifestation in the relief of the earth's surface of those signs and properties related to the geological and tectonic features of the territory, as well as the relationship between the relief and the geological structure. The second is aimed at a detailed analysis of specific factors affecting the development of passive and active structural forms and their reflection in the topography of the earth's surface. The third module is devoted to the study of methods of structural and geomorphological research and their informativeness for solving various issues of a theoretical and applied nature. Knowledge of the discipline has important practical significance, as it makes it possible to explain the spatial position, origin and morphology of relief forms from a structural and geomorphological point of view, to establish cause-and-effect relationships with modern endodynamic processes and phenomena. In addition, most of the structural and denudation forms of the relief are well-known geotourist objects, so knowledge about the peculiarities of their formation provides a thorough scientific and cognitive basis for the development of this popular direction of tourism.
