Learning outcomes
LO 4. Show deep knowledge and systematic understanding of theoretical concepts, both from the field of Social Work and from other branches of socio-humanitarian Sciences. LO 6. Independently and autonomously find information necessary for professional growth, master it, assimilate and produce new knowledge, develop professional skills and qualities. LO 13. Demonstrate initiative, independence, originality, generate new ideas for solving problems of professional activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of the content of the course EC.02 "Professional and corporate ethics";
2) knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation;
3) understanding the criteria for the effectiveness of pedagogical activities, the essence of the main regulators of activities and behavior in the group and the possibilities of their use in work with the academic group and individual students.
Course content
The content reveals the main categories of higher education pedagogy, its principles, methods, technologies. Acquisition of knowledge on the organization of education and upbringing in higher education, formation of understanding of the content of pedagogical activity and pedagogical skill, criteria of its efficiency, acquisition of knowledge on organization of education in higher education, formation of competences on qualification "teacher", development of pedagogical thinking and promotion of professional self-determination. The principles of organization of influence on the personality in the process of its upbringing, education and training are revealed. The content includes scientific bases of organization of educational process, formation of pedagogical skill, realization of understanding of system approach to the organization of educational process, role of its participants, necessity of possession of methodology, a technique, forms, technologies of its organization.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Activities: oral presentations, participation in the discussion, presentation of independent tasks, analysis, practical tasks, control tasks, solving pedagogical problems, modular test work.
Methods: lecture, seminar, preparation of analytical materials, speeches, presentations, preparation of reports, solving practical problems, discussion of conflict situations, discussion of solutions to practical situations, MTW.
Assessment methods and criteria
Tests, performing practical tasks, presentation, solution of pedagogical problems, discourse.
10 - fully owns the material, freely and argumentatively teaches it, 9-8 - sufficiently, freely teaches it, may lack argumentation, 7-6 - generally owns but doesn’t demonstrate the depth of knowledge, doesn’t rely on educational literature, materials, 1 - 5 - demonstrates the level of knowledge-acquaintances.
Evaluation and analysis of the results of educational and independent activities
5 - deeply and comprehensively reveals the content, uses required and additional literature, demonstrates the independence, reliability of the study; 4 - demonstrates the independence and reliability of the work performed; insignificant inaccuracies are allowed; 3 - demonstrates activity in performing tasks; contains significant inaccuracies; 2-1 points - does not fully possess the material, lack of independence in performing tasks.
MTW: 1 point for each correct answer.
Credit: min. 24, max. 40 points.
