PLO 2. To use the modern mathematical apparatus of continuous and discrete analysis, linear algebra, analytical geometry, in professional activities to solve problems of a theoretical and applied nature in the process of designing and implementing informatization objects.

Course content
The discipline "Discrete Mathematics" is a mandatory discipline of the educational program "Informatics", which is taught in the 1st and 2nd semesters for bachelors in the amount of 240 hours (8 credits), in particular: 58 hours of lectures, 56 hours of practical work, 122 hours of independent work, 4 hours of consultation. The teaching of the discipline ends with an exam (1st and 2nd semester). The subject of the discipline "Discrete Mathematics" includes the basic concepts of set theory, combinatorics, theory of Boolean functions, graph theory, theory of automata, theory of coding.

Current evaluation: РН1.1 – 10 points/6 points. - final evaluation (in the form of an exam): - the maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student: 40 points; - learning outcomes that will be evaluated: PH1.1, PH2.1, PH2.2; - form of implementation and types of tasks: written work. Types of tasks: 4 written tasks. Second semester 1. Control work 3: RN 1.2, RN2.3 — 25 points/15 points. 2. Control work 4: PH 1.2, PH 1.3, PH 2.4, PH 2.5 — 25 points/15 points. 3.
