Learning outcomes
PLO 2. To demonstrate an adequate level of mastery of national and foreign languages to perform written and spoken communication, namely in the situations of professional and academic communication; to present the results of their studies in these national and foreign languages. PLO 6. To use knowledge on expressive, emotive, logical language means and speech techniques in order to achieve an intended pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 10. To collect and systematize facts of language and literature, to interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PLO 14. To create, analyze, and edit texts of various genres and styles.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The course "Swedish (Professional Level)" requires knowledge of the Swedish language at a level not lower than B2 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and is based on the knowledge, skills and abilities of students acquired during the study of the practical language course at the bachelor's level, and also on the knowledge of Swedish history, society and culture acquired in the "Country Studies" course.
Course content
The course "Swedish (Professional Level)" covers practical classes. In practical classes, consistent training of all types of speech competence (reading, listening, writing, oral monologic and dialogic speech) is carried out. Practical classes are held using the educational and methodological complex "Rivstart B2+C1".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities: practical classes, independent work. Teaching methods: communicative method, heuristic method, educational discussion, conversation, role-playing games, written exercises, analysis of texts, audio and video recordings.
Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment: presentation, written work (essay), interview, test, control of understanding of the listened audio recordings. The final assessment is an exam. Evaluation criteria for each form of control are given in the course program.
