Р01.Know, understand and be able to use in practice the basic concepts of the theory of geomorphology, the organization of naturally cognitive tourism, as well as related sciences. P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences, in particular to solve problems of geomorphology, palaeogeography and naturally cognitive tourism. P07. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the landscape sphere in general and geomorphosystems in particular. P08. Apply models, methods of physics, chemistry, geology, ecology, mathematics, information technology, etc. in the study of processes of relief formation and development, individual objects and processes of the geosphere. P09. Analyze the composition and structure of natural- and sociospheres,

- knowledge of theoretical foundations of physics, chemistry, mathematics, physical geography.

The discipline consists of two content modules. The first content module is devoted to the study of the properties and characteristics of the Earth's atmosphere. The second content module is devoted to the study of the properties of the Earth's climate system, the peculiarities of the interaction of climate-forming factors, the classification of Earth's climates, hypotheses explaining climate changes, the main features of the climate of past eras, current trends in global and regional climate changes and their consequences.
