PRN1. Apply thorough knowledge of the basic forms and laws of abstract and logical thinking, the basics of the methodology of scientific knowledge, the forms and methods of extracting, analyzing, processing and synthesizing information in the subject area of computer science

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students must: have generalized knowledge about the processes and phenomena of social existence, about the philosophical, cultural, political-legal and socio-economic foundations of society's life;
be able to collect and analyze information about events, processes and phenomena of social
political life of society; to have basic skills in using information sources; scientific research and information management.
Course content
discipline is aimed at revealing the peculiarities of sociological and political knowledge about society, models of social order and interactions, basic dimensions and problems of modern society, the logic of its development, social
cultural and political-cultural characteristics and development trends of modern Ukrainian society. When studying the discipline, attention is focused on dimensions of values, identity, inequalities, social solidarity and conflicts, social relations in employment and political systems, history of political thought, issues of power, regimes in politics, political systems of society and the state, civil society, democracy, parties and party systems, elections, world politics.

- semester evaluation (1st part): 1. Oral answers: RN 1.1, RN 1.2, RN 2.1, RN 2.2 – 5 points/3 points for one answer. 2. Analytical task on a topic assigned by the lecturer (essay): RN 2.1, RN 2.2., RN 3.1, RN 4.1 – 15 points/9 points for one task. 3. Control work No. 1: RN 1.1, RN 1.2, RN 2.1, RN 2.2 – 10 points/6 points. - semester assessment (2nd part): 1. Oral report: RN 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 – 3-5 points for one report: 2. Supplement / participation in the discussion: RN 1.1 , 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.3, – 1-3 points for one addition: 3. Independent work (essay, analytical task, project presentation): RN 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 – 8-10 points for one work: 4. Control work (for 40 test tasks, for each of which the student can get 0.5 points): RN 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2 – 6-10 points. - final assessment in the form of credit
