Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. The student must know: the main concepts of social psychology, the patterns of communication and interaction, the features of group processes; basic concepts of political psychology and psychology of advertising (image-making); mechanisms of socio-psychological influence. 2. The student must be able to: operate with the conceptual and categorical apparatus of social psychology, political psychology, psychology of advertising (image-making), recognize and qualify certain socio-psychological processes and phenomena, apply methods of socio-psychological research of social groups and personality. 3. The student must have: the skills of theoretical analysis, planning and implementation of socio-psychological research, communication skills for presenting their own ideas, discussions and group work.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to get acquainted with the content and objectives of political advertising and PR, psychological mechanisms and phenomena that form the basis of this activity and the relevant factors of its effectiveness, a set of psychological tools and means of influence in the system of political advertising and public relations. The course consists of two content modules. The first is devoted to the study of the general methodological foundations of political advertising and PR as varieties of social communication and interaction; means and methods of psychological influence in advertising and PR. The second is about applied aspects and individual technologies of political advertising and PR, organization, planning and tracking of the effectiveness of relevant campaigns.

Lectures, seminars, individual student work
Assessment methods and criteria
Modular tests, analytical work, creative work, oral report, addition. Form of final control: exam. Grade during the study period (minimum 36 / maximum 60): 1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions, addition): - 34/18 points 2. Analytical work: - 22/14 points 3. Creative work: - 20/12 points 4. Modular tests: - 24/16 points. The final assessment is carried out in the form of exam. A student is not allowed to pass if during the semester he scored less than 36 points. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student at the credit is 40 points, the minimum is 24 points. Grading: 90-100: Excellent 75-89: Good 60-74: Satisfactory 0-59: Fail
