Learning outcomes
Understand key chemical concepts, basic facts, concepts, principles and theories relating to the natural and life sciences and the earth, as well as chemical technologies at a level sufficient for their application in professional activities. Understand the basic laws and types of chemical reactions and their characteristics. Understand the relationship between the structure and properties of substances. Analyze and evaluate data, synthesize new ideas related to chemistry and its applications. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic facts, concepts, principles and theories in chemistry. Monitor and analyze scientific sources of information and professional literature.

То know the basics of general, inorganic analytical, organic and physical chemistry. 2.Be able to statistically process the results. 3.Have the skills to work with different sources of information.
Course content
The main attention of the course is paid to the main stages of classical, high-performance, analytical and preparative chromatography chromatography; selection of optimal separation conditions in the column; chromatography theories; properties and requirements of stationary and mobile phases; principle of operation of chromatographs in gas and liquid chromatography. The course considers the means and methods of registration of the results of experimental work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes 2 control papers, assessment of independent work on the design of laboratory works. Evaluation is carried out according to the 100-point system. The maximum/minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester evaluation is 60 points/36 points. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The maximum/minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student on the exam is 40 points/24 points.
