Learning outcomes
1. Students should be able to organize and carry out research work, form and consolidate their skills. 2. To expand, deepen and consolidate theoretical knowledge gained during the study of the course "Methodology and Organization of Scientific Work". 3. To get acquainted with the organization, main directions and topics of scientific work of one of the research centers. 4. To form and consolidate the skills of independent performance of research work.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before the research practice, students should know the basic political theories and methods of political research; main categories of political science; The history of formation and development, patterns, specifics of policy as a social phenomenon. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information on political phenomena, political institutions and processes; use the acquired knowledge and skills in research. 3. To have elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political institutions and processes; The use of foreign language political, philosophical and legal sources.
Course content
The object of practice is the research centers of state and non-state ownership-research institutes of the NAS of Ukraine, research and scientific-analytical institutions of other subordination, commercial scientific institutions and centers. Practice involves getting acquainted with the organization and conduct of research work of the object of practice, writing of a scientific article and reviews of a scientific article.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Research practice. Scientific research work. Writing a review of a scientific article. Approbation of scientific work. Writing a report on practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Production practice (internships in a research institution): 25/40 points 2. Research work: 18 /30 points 3. Writing a review on a scientific article 5 /10. 4. Approbation of scientific work: 12 /20 points. Final assessment in the form of credit: the final number of points in the course (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the practice. Differentiated credit is based on the protection of practice reports.
