Learning outcomes
PLO5 To apply theoretical, categorical-conceptual and analyticalresearch apparatus, the integrative function of geographical knowledge for analyzing the global socio-political, socio-ecological, socio-cultural, informational and technological transformations and features of their manifestation in countries and regions of the world accounting for a particular historical or modern context in solving professional problems. PLO9 To understand and to apply in professional activities knowledge of the principles of functioning and patterns of development of government and public policy, political institutions and processes, political behavior, political culture and ideology, world politics and politics of individual countries and regions. PLO11 To apply in practice knowledge of socio-geographical factors of distribution of power and interests of countries and between nation-states in a broad space-time context of the balance of power, geostrategic positioning under globalization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the disciplines "Geoglobalistics", "Global inequality and geoconflictology". Knowledge of theoretical foundations of political geography, socio-political studies. Mastering the skills of analysis, synthesis, situation modeling, forecasting, comparison and methods of political and geographical research.
Course content
Information is provided about the evolution of the international order in the 19th and 20th centuries. The essence of political-geographical and geopolitical concepts of modern times and the role of modern global problems in the formation of the foreign policy of the countries of the world are revealed. The foreign policy and geopolitical strategies of today's key states and organizations are analyzed: the EU (Germany, France, Poland), Great Britain, the USA, China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, India, Russia, etc. The role and place of Ukraine in the global political space is considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of work at seminars, writing 2 final control papers, quizzes, preparing a presentation and a case study: - seminars - 15 points / 9 points; - final test papers - 20 points / 12 points; - case studies for individual tasks - 10 points / b points; - presentation of research results - 10 points / 6 points; - blitz survey - 5 points / 3 points. Final assessment in the form of credit. Assessment is carried out in written form in the form of detailed and test tasks. The maximum number of points on the test is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to semester marks is 24 points.. The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account credit work.
