Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confidently speak the state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in the state and foreign languages.
PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic and literary facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres in the field of Japanese philology.
PLO 17. Plan, organize, carry out and present research and/or innovative developments in the field of Japanese philology.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Successful passing of disciplines: "Japanese: Advanced Level", "Methodology and Organization of Scientific Research with the Basics of Intellectual Property", "Culture of Speech: Academic and Business Discourse (Japanese)", etc.
2) Knowledge of the basic methodology of scientific research.
3) Ability to apply theoretical knowledge for scientific research, analysis, and interpretation of specific material.
The bases of practice are determined annually in accordance with the agreements.
Course content
Off-site research and exploratory practice is a complex process that is an integral part of the training of specialists in the program "Oriental Philology, Western European Language and Translation: Japanese Language and Literature" for future professional activities, and is designed to ensure that students acquire professional skills as a junior researcher. The internship contributes to the development of the acquired knowledge and practical skills of exploratory, analytical, interpretive, comparative work in the field of Japanese studies, as well as the formation of the personal and motivational component of the professional competence of future Japanese scholars. During the internship, students have the opportunity to develop their creative abilities as philologists and improve their ability to generate research ideas.
