PLO 1: Evaluate own educational, scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 3. Apply modern methodologies and technologies, including information technologies, for successful and effective professional activity and quality assurance of research in the field of Japanese philology. PLO 4. Assess and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and provide ways to solve them in complicated and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in a professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PLO 19. Develop teaching materials, conduct lectures and practical classes in higher education based on knowledge of the methods of Oriental languages teaching.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Interdisciplinary connections: Foreign language (Korean/Japanese); pedagogy of higher education and pedagogical skills of a teacher; methods of Oriental languages teaching in higher educational institutions. Students must be proficient in the language at a level not lower than B2, as well as know the theory of teaching methods, be able to practically apply modern methods of pedagogy, have basic skills in applying theoretical knowledge of teaching methods.
Course content
Production (assistant) practice with separation (Oriental languages) is an integral part of the educational process of students of the Institute of philology and is mandatory among other disciplines in the structural and logical scheme of the educational and professional training program of the Institute of philology. The offered program contains recommendations and methodological materials for the organization and conduct of the assistant practice of the first-year master's students of the Department of languages and literatures of the Far East and Southeast Asia of the Institute of lhilology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Pedagogical tasks are aimed at forming students' practical skills and abilities to organize the educational process, as well as to consolidate the ability to analyze the results obtained with the subsequent possibility of their correction.

Assessment methods and criteria
After completing the practice, the master's student within the time specified by the order submits for review to the head of the production (assistant) practice diary, a written report on the practice, as well as a characteristic from the teacher of the practice base, in whose discipline the student conducted classes. The practice diary contains a calendar schedule of pedagogical activities (dates and times of attending a mentoring conference, a study visit to the higher education institution where the practice will take place, visits to the library to collect the necessary material, attending classes of the teacher and classmates, as well as dates and times of classes and educational activities by the student, dates of reporting documentation, etc.) The calendar schedule and work entries in the internship diary must be filled in by the student personally.
