Prerequisites and co-requisites
They know information on mathematical analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, basics of programming, numerical methods.
They can create software applications for calculations and visualization of results.
Course content
The goal of the discipline: mastering the basics of computer modeling, computational experiments, and methods of solving numerical analysis problems. The course includes a description of computational experiment technology and computer modeling using numerical methods for calculating integrals, approximating functions, solving the Cauchy problem, and boundary value problems.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment:
1. Current evaluation (in lectures): 5 points / 0 points.
2. Control work №1: 20 points / 12 points.
3. Control work №2: 15 points / 9 points.
4. Laboratory works (3 works): maximum 20 points for each / minimum 13.
Summative evaluation: the credit is given based on the student's work results throughout the semester and does not include additional evaluation measures for successful students.
Conditions for admission to the final assessment: all three laboratory works must be completed.
