Learning outcomes
PLO 6. To use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized problems and problems of professional activity. PLO 10. To know the norms of the literary Hindi and English languages and be able to apply them in practical activities. PLO 14. To use Hindi and English in oral and written form, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral) to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of a professional and methodical personality of a teacher who is able to realize the learning goals, namely, theoretical learning, practical learning and educational research work based on knowledge of teaching methods of Hindi in a secondary school, as well as being able to outline the learning goals at a theoretical qualification level and educational material level. The discipline belongs to the block of disciplines of the student's free choice and has a theoretical orientation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures and seminar classes. Students’ self-study involves preparation for oral responses, reports with the analyses of scientific literature, research presentation, precis, summaries.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semestral assessment is based on: oral responses, written assignments, reports and presentations / precis – 24/40 points, modular control works – 12/20 points. Summarizing evaluation in the form of exam is max. 40 / min. 24 points (60% of minimum required quantity); the exam is conducted in written and oral forms, and proposes: 1) to answer two theoretical questions; 2) to complete a practical task. Students, who totally scored less than 36 points during the semester, may not participate in the exam.
