Learning outcomes
Know the basic approaches to the concept of elections, the content of the election process, the range of subjects, principles. Know the peculiarities of organizing and conducting elections at different levels. Be able to analyze the features of the formation of strategy and tactics of the election campaign using administrative tools and procedures. Be able to determine the characteristics of the subjects of power during the election. Ability to provide judicial and extrajudicial protection of the rights of citizens and other subjects of the election process. Ability to effectively organize communications in the implementation of the advertising campaign, holding events within the election campaign. Research of practical aspects of the organization of the election process. Substantiation of forms of activity of public authorities regarding the organization and conduct of the election process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the basic principles of political and legal support of public administration, political communications. 2. Be able to use analytical and statistical methods of information processing for the analysis of certain models of electoral systems, the organization of the electoral process. 3. Have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, work with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
Course content
Topic 1. General provisions and concepts of suffrage and electoral process. Topic 2. The election process. Topic 3. Features of elections at different levels. Counting of votes. Topic 4. Protection of suffrage.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material from all parts of the discipline. The general semester assessment consists of points obtained for 1) classroom work (oral reports, additions and participation in discussions at seminars), 2) individual independent work (abstract) on current issues of communication management; All types of work in the semester result in: maximum measurement - 60 points; minimum measurement - 36 points. In case of absence from the seminar, the student must complete the assignments for the seminar orally or in writing. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam, which includes a written answer to the question. - final assessment in the form of an exam: 40 points (threshold score of 20 points). During the exam, the student answers the questions in writing.
