            	Be able to develop national/regional program documents on the development of public administration, using systemic analysis and an integrated approach, as well as teamwork methods.
To be able to communicate effectively, argue one's position, use modern information and communication technologies in the field of public management and administration on the basis of social responsibility, legal and ethical norms.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            To know: the basic principles of formation and implementation of public policy, the foundations of regulatory and legal support for the activities of public authorities; features of public policy in Ukraine; the process and tools of public policy implementation; analysis of the implementation of public policy; monitoring and evaluation of public policy.
2. To be able to use analytical, statistical and other methods of processing information regarding the spheres of public policy, performance indicators of public authorities, work with national and international databases.
3. To have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, working with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The theoretical and methodological foundations of public policy, features of public policy in Ukraine and in developed countries are revealed. The technology of the public policy implementation process, the cycle of this process and its content, the organization of the analysis of the implementation of public policy, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of public policy are considered.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Semester assessment: assessment is carried out during the semester of all types of work, including surveys, independent work, performance and presentation of an individual analytical task.
1. Module 1: survey, performance of independent tasks, modular control work (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points).
2. Module 2: survey, performance of independent tasks, modular control work (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points).
3. Execution and presentation of an individual analytical task (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points).
A student is not admitted to the exam if he scored less than 36 points during the semester. For admission to the exam, it is mandatory to complete individual work, independent tasks and write control papers.
