Program learning outcomes PLO-3. Use abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis to evaluate the results of professional activity and ensure its quality, to be critical and self-critical, persistent in the tasks and commitments. PLO-7. Identify, set and solve professional problems, summarize the results, process and analyze information from various sources, design and present research results in accordance with the requirements. PLO-8. Use information and communication technologies and on this basis to form an effective system of information and analytical support to support decision-making to prevent, combat and neutralize threats to national security. PLO-9. Use security modes while on duty. PLO-10. Analyze the challenges and threats to national security in the areas of professional activity and synthesize information on the development and implementation of strategies in key areas of national security (political, economic, social, humanitarian).

External form

Know: the main categories and concepts related to the vital activity of a person and society, the state and the foundations of the theory of management in the field of national security to be able to: identify and analyze information that will reveal the essence of methodological foundations and practical aspects of management decision-making; apply the main categories, concepts (terms) in the analysis of state management processes in the field of national security; to explain the essence and role of management activities in social systems in the context of ensuring the safety of their vital activities; to have elementary skills: system analysis in the study of management activities in the context of ensuring national security and forecasting and critical understanding of its consequences; systematization of materials necessary for effective organization of one's own educational activities.

It is a combination of knowledge about the methodological principles and practical aspects of managerial decision-making in the field of national security and includes two content modules: "Methodological principles of managerial decision-making", which. forms in the student a set of knowledge about: managerial activity in the context of making managerial decisions; interdependence and target orientation of political and management decisions; human factor, psychological and corruption aspects of management decisions; classification and regulatory legalization of decisions of state authorities; methods of management decision-making and their optimization and "Practical aspects of management decision-making", which forms in the student a set of knowledge about: peculiarities and mechanisms of implementation of political decisions in public administration; prerequisites for making effective strategic management decisions; features of developing innovative management solutions and features of making management decisions in conditions of uncertainty and risk.
