Learning outcomes Students should know: 1.1 The essence and content of the concepts of «public relations», PR-technologies and relations with the public 1.2 History of the development of relations with the public 1.3 Principles, rules and main functions of PR 1.4 PR methods and tools, as well as types and types of PR technologies be able: 2.1 Use the principles, rules and regularities from the theory of PR-activity in political and administrative activities 2.2 Determine the peculiarities of legal regulation and ethical norms of PR-activity when solving a specific political and administrative problem 2.3. Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. Know: theoretical foundations of public management and administration, as well as its development in the context of global governance; peculiarities of coordination of interests in the development of public policy in various spheres of social life. 2. Be able to: identify factors that determine the specifics of using PR technologies and public relations in public management practice; apply basic categories, concepts (terms) when analyzing various aspects of public management practice. 3. Possess: system analysis skills when researching political and management situations; forecasting of political and administrative situations; search using modern information technologies for the necessary information (including in foreign language sources) and its critical interpretation when solving political and management tasks.
Course content
Content of the educational program The academic discipline "PR-technologies and public relations" is included in the cycle of mandatory educational disciplines. The discipline introduces students to the theoretical, methodological and practical foundations of PR-technologies and public relations. The concept and content of "Public relations", principles, rules and main functions of PR are considered. The history of public relations, methods and main tools of PR-activities are revealed. Legal regulation and ethical norms of PR-activities are analyzed. The practical aspects of PR-technologies and public relations, their specifics and features of application in public management practice are revealed. The goal of the academic discipline "PR-technologies and public relations" is to provide students with systematic knowledge of the theoretical, methodological and practical foundations of PR-technologies and public relations, their specifics and features of application in public management practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Planned educational activities and teaching methods Lectures, seminars, independent work. Lectures take place in the classroom with the use of presentations and additional illustrative material. The seminars take place in classrooms, during the seminars the learning of the material takes place in the form of discussions (individual and group), discussions and analysis, game methods are used, and practical tasks are performed. The student's independent work consists in the systematic processing of materials proposed by the teacher. The learned material is subject to verification at seminar classes in the form of an oral survey. In addition, the results of independent processing of the material are checked during the writing of modular test papers. Missed classes are made up by the student completing additional tasks in the discipline.
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation methods and criteria Semester evaluation is carried out during the semester of all types of work, including individual and group work at the seminar, independent work, writing modular control papers. Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level evaluation of the learned material (theoretical and practical training). - semester assessment (MAX – 80 points / MIN – 48 points): 1. Work at seminar classes 2. Two control papers. - final evaluation: credit. The final control is carried out in the form of a written test, which is evaluated at a maximum of 20 points. The final grade is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes during the semester (grades below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final grade). The maximum number of points that can be received by a student is 100 points.
