Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements Know: the main categories and concepts of psychological science; the history of the development of psychological knowledge; methods of psychological science; regularities of the course of cognitive and emotional-volitional processes; leading personality theories; possibilities of applying psychological knowledge in practice. Be able to: carry out a comparative analysis of psychological concepts, theories, research approaches; carry out a psychological analysis of an individual's behavior; make a psychological description of a person; analyze one's own behavior, personality, causes of emotional problems; perform a socio-psychological examination of the causes and consequences of various forms of conflicts. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding mental processes, states, properties; use of foreign language professional information sources.
Course content
Content of the educational program The discipline "Fundamentals of psychology" helps to understand the laws of thinking, the formation of intelligence, to learn the essence and meaning of life and its value. It promotes more effective interaction with the surrounding world. The study of psychology will contribute to increasing the efficiency of one's own professional activity. It aims to expand professional erudition, horizons, and develop a scientific outlook. Considers and studies objective, actually existing mental phenomena and facts; reveals the peculiarities, regularities of the structure and development of the psyche, the functioning of its mechanisms.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Planned educational activities and teaching methods The formation of students' components of integral competence: the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of psychology, which involves the application of basic psychological theories and methods and is characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions, to provide students with a complete system of knowledge to explain the process of subjective reflection of objective reality. Theoretical understanding of the place and role of a developing person in a society that is also changing. The teacher's use of modern teaching methods, taking into account the challenges that occur during the war between Ukraine and russia.
Assessment methods and criteria
The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester. For students who scored a total of less points than the critical-calculated minimum number of points to receive credit, if there are valid reasons confirmed by documents, they have the right to work on the material within two weeks, after returning to study. Semester assessment: assessment is carried out during the semester of all types of work, including surveys, independent work, and the performance of modular control works.
