PLO-1. Realize their rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to understand the values of civil society (free democracy) and the need for its sustainable (safe) development, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine. Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the modern methods of historical knowledge, the historical terminological and conceptual apparatus, the nature and features of the historical process in Ukraine. To be able to independently deepen their knowledge by searching and processing new information using modern technical means, to scientifically assess the role of subjective and objective factors in the historical process, events and phenomena. Posses basic skills in working with historical and historiographical sources
Course content
The content of the educational program The history of Ukrainian statehood plays an extremely important role in the system of humanities taught to students of higher education institutions. In the modern sense, this subject provides a set of knowledge that becomes a guideline for both a future scientist and a citizen of the state. The information base accumulated in the course of historical development provides an opportunity to generalize, analyze, model, forecast and organize the political, social, economic and cultural life of our state. The course provides the study of theoretical problems, trends and laws of political, economic, cultural, social phenomena, opens up wide opportunities for students to master basic practical skills in various fields of educational, scientific and social problems

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of students is carried out in two forms: current control (work at seminars, independent work, tests) and final control (credit). The total amount of points is 100 points (of which, the current control is 80 points; the final control is 20 points) Forms of assessment: 1. Work at seminars (from content module 1 and 2) – 20 points / 12 points *. 2. Independent work 1 and 2 (essay) – 10 points / 6 points *. 3. Test 1 and 2 – 10 points / 6 points * * Maximum score/threshold score to obtain a positive mark from the relevant form of control. Final assessment (credit) – the maximum number of points is 20 points.
