Learning outcomes
1.1. To know modern theoretical and methodological approaches to the study and interpretation of social inequalities
2.1. To be able to justify the choice of research methodology, to develop a program for the study of social inequalities
2.2. To be able to diagnose and interpret social problems related to inequalities
3.1. Demonstrate the ability to work in a research team, develop and present the results of teamwork in a reasoned manner
4.1. Demonstrate the ability to independently analyze problems of social inequalities, develop technologies for regulating inequalities on the basis of theoretical and methodological knowledge

Know the basics of the theory of social structure and stratification;
Be able to work with sociological data, perform their mathematical and statistical analysis;
Have skills in working with English-language scientific literature.

Introduction to the discipline. Challenges of complex inequalities for research theory and methodology
A system of modern theories and methodologies for the study of inequalities
Inequalities of poverty and wealth, conditions and quality of life: multicriteria and cross-sectional methodologies
Inequality of life chances: class methodologies
Inequality of resources and opportunities in Ukrainian society: gender, age, settlement dimensions, dimension by health status
