Learning outcomes
1.1 To know methodological systems of modern philosophy of science; 1.2 To know: special forms of methodological culture of the sociologist, technologies of popularization of sociological knowledge; features of methods and forms of professional communication. 1.3 To know: the rights and responsibilities of holders of intellectual property rights and other participants in copyright relations; 2.1 To be able to: use the methodological principles of scientific research 2.2 To be able to: determine the conditions of increase efficiency of scientific activity of sociologists; 2.3 To protect copyright in conducting their own research, citations and references 3.1 To present the results of research at scientific conferences and seminars.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of general issues of sociological theory, philosophical knowledge, methodology of sociological research, sociology of education and law. 2. Knowledge of the peculiarities of the formation of scientific concepts, principles of construction of theoretical conclusions; features of methods of sociological research. 3. Be able to: use technological knowledge and skills in the process of sociological research; to develop a program of sociological research; formulate practical recommendations; to build author's research methods on the basis of the set sample. 4. Possess basic skills: analysis, synthesis, teamwork, communication organization.
Course content
1. Science and methodology of scientific research. Basic concepts of philosophy of science methodology. 2. Varieties of methodological systems. 3. Methodological significance of hermeneutics and phenomenology for research in the social and behavioral sciences. 4. Interdisciplinary specifics of methodology and organization of sociological research. 5. Metaparadigmatic structure of modern sociological knowledge. 6. Principles, methods and forms of scientific activity of the sociologist. 7. Intellectual, creative activity and its place in the social development of society. 8. Copyrights and related rights.
