Learning outcomes
To know the basic theoretical principles and concepts of gender sociolinguistics Know the main developments and results of gender sociolinguistic research Apply theoretical knowledge in the practice of research of gender speech, sexism Be able to work with social information, sociological research data, data on language practices Use modern information and communication technologies, be able to apply methods of text analysis and speech Demonstrate the skills of reasoned presentation of one's own opinion, competent and tolerant discussion with opponents. Carry out independent analytical, research and exploration activities

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theoretical foundations of sociology, gender and feminist theory, socio-cultural analysis, semiotic analysis, terminology, conceptual framework and foundations of modern and postmodern sociological theory and research. 2. be able to read professional sociological publications, work with sociological data and formulate their own ideas in the Ukrainian scientific language 3. have the skills to search and select relevant information, use methodologies and conceptual foundations of sociological, socio-cultural and gender analysis; discuss, present and discuss their own position on selected issues

Gender sociolinguistics: origins and origins Gender research in applied linguistics and sociology Androcentrism of language in discussions of postmodern and feminist authors The role of language in the construction of gender identity Stereotypes of language behavior of different gender groups Gender language, language sexism Non-discriminatory language: femininities and strategies of neutralization

- Semester assessment: 1. several forms of individual and group work . (PL1.2, PL2.1, PL2.2, PL3.1) (20 points / 12 points) 2. Presentation results (PL2.3, PL3.1, PL4.1) (20 points / 12 points,) 3. Final work - (PL1.1, PL1.2, PL2.2) (20 points / 12 points). - a final evaluation in the form of an exam PL1.1, PL2.1, PL2.2 (40 points / 24 points).
