Learning outcomes
1.1 know the history and current state of sociology of organizations and management;
1.2 know the content of basic concepts, theoretical positions and key concepts used by sociological science in the field of organizational research and management;
2.1 to use the conceptual apparatus and methodological tools of sociological science for the interpretation of various forms and types of organizational activities;
2.2 identify trends and social mechanisms of functioning and development of organizational systems, phenomena and processes in modern social life;
3 to publicly present the results of independent work;
4 to independently develop a research project on organizational issues on the basis of search and analysis of the results of sociological research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Have knowledge of the disciplines "Modern sociological theories", "Social structure of society", "Social statistics and demography".
2. Have basic skills in using methods of sociological research.

Part 1. Sociology of organizations and management as a theory of the middle level.
1 Sociology of organizations and management in the system of sociological knowledge.
2 The main stages of development of organizational and managerial science.
3 The essence of social organization.
4 Typologies of organizations.
Part 2. Organizations in the social space.
5 Structure of organizations.
6 Problems of functioning of social organization.
7 Organizational change and development.
Part 3. Management of the organization in the sociological dimension.
8 Management as a specific type of social activity.
9 Organizational principles of management.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. work at seminars during the semester: РН1.1, РН1.2, РН2.1, РН2.2, РН4 - 15/9 points
2. writing an essay on topic 3: PH 2.1, PH 2.2. - 5/3 points
3. presentation of the results of the individual task on topics 4-5: PH3, PH4 - 5/3 points
4. Reviewing the article on topics 5-6: PH1.2, PH2.1, PH 2.2 - 5/3 points
5. analysis of the practical situation on topic 7: PH 3, PH2.2, PH4 - 5/3 points
6. presentation of the results of the group task on topic 8: PH3, PH4 - 5/3 points
7. performance of control works: РН1.1, РН1.2, РН2.1, РН2.2, РН4 - 20 points / 12 (2 works on 10 maximum or 6 minimum points for everyone)
final assessment: written exam РН1.1, РН1.2, РН2.1, РН2.2 (ticket contains two parts: the first - tests, the second - problem question / situation) - 40 points (20 maximum points or 12 minimum points for each ticket issues). The minimum score for passing the exam (overall positive grade) is 24 points.
