Learning outcomes
1.1 Know the basic categories and concepts of social psychology. 1.2 Know the features of the use of basic socio-psychological methods of research of social groups depending on the direction of the study. 2.1 Be able to analyze the basic patterns of interaction, which determines the relationship between interpersonal and social relations. 2.2 Be able to analyze, summarize, perform comparative analysis and explain the psychological processes, states and properties of different social groups as a whole. 3.1 Adhere to the principles of professional ethics in the process of communication in various fields of professional activity, respect multiculturalism and diversity (communication). 4.1 Apply techniques of self-analysis for self-development (autonomy and responsibility).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Be able to work with scientific literature and primary sources. 2. Have the skills to search, analyze information, work with facts and think critically.
Course content
I. Theoretical and methodological principles of social psychology as a science. 1. The place of social psychology in the system of scientific knowledge. 2. Psychological means and technologies of influence in the process of interaction of social actors. 3. Methodology and research methods of social psychology. ІІ. Socio-psychological patterns of communication. 4. Communication as an exchange of information. Communicative side of communication. 5. Communication as interaction. Interactive side of communication. 6. Communication as people's perception of each other. Perceptual side of communication. III. Social psychology of groups and individuals. 7. Features of a small group in social psychology. 8. Methodological problems of research of small groups in social psychology. 9. Psychology of large social groups and mass movements. 10. The phenomenon of personality in social psychology. 11. Applied social psychology.

1. Individual and group work at seminars, project presentation - 35/22 points. 2. Participation in group training tasks and brainstorming - 30/18 points. 3. Test - 15/9 points. 4. Final test - 20/12 points. Final assessment: Pass-exam.
