Learning outcomes
To know: Theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of cultural institutions. Features of standard procedures, modern formats and technologies in cultural design. Specifics of the functioning of cultural organisations in Ukraine as managers of cultural projects. Specifics of types of cultural projects. Be able to: Use project management tools in the cultural sphere in practice. Critically analyse project risks based on an understanding of the specifics of socio-cultural processes. Collect, systematise, summarise and present information about the creative experience of different types of cultural projects. Communication: Fluent communication on issues of project management in the cultural sphere with colleagues, the wider scientific community, and society as a whole. Autonomy and responsibility: Demonstrate the ability to continuously develop and improve as a researcher and organiser of project activities in the field of culture.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students should know the basic cultural theories; the basics of Ukrainian legislation in the field of culture. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information about cultural phenomena and phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply basic terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes. 3. Course content
Topic 1: Cultural project and its components. Planning a cultural project. Cultural organisations in Ukraine as managers of cultural projects. Independent work No. 1. Analysis of a cultural organisation in Ukraine that provides grants in the field of culture. Topic 2. Financing of cultural projects within the project application. Creative economy. Independent work No. 2. Summary of the selected chapter of the book "Homo creativus" by Richard Florida Topic 3. Creating a project team within the project application. Risk management in cultural projects. Independent work No. 3. Formation of a list of necessary team members for the chosen type of project (festival, exhibition, biennale, fashion week, concert, competition, symposium, forum, conference, art fair, book publication, creation of an online platform, creation of a cultural route). Topic 4. Communications in cultural projects. PR for cultural projects. Cultural management and media. Ukrainian media about culture. Independent work No. 4. Analysis of an example of Ukrainian media about culture, including online formats - main priorities, target audience, topics, tools, channels. Communications in the project application. Part 2 Topic 5. Types of cultural projects. Festivals and awards. Tourism, cultural mapping and cultural routes. Independent work No. 5. Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer in practical classes - 18 / 35 points 2. Self-study - assignments - 30 / 45 points The semester number of points is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire course. The total grade for the semester consists of the points obtained for classroom work - 1) oral answers at seminars, additions and participation in discussions, 2) self-study (tasks No. 1-5). All types of work for the semester have a total - a maximum of 80 points - a minimum of 48 points In case of absence from the seminar, the student must complete the seminar assignment in writing. Final written test - 12/20 points
