Learning outcomes
As a result of studying this discipline, the student must know the concepts and facts (formulas, theorems) provided by the program of the discipline and understand their meaning, as well as be able to solve the problems provided by the program. These are the basic concepts and methods of mathematical analysis, analytical geometry, linear algebra, the theory of differential equations, and the probability theory.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The academic discipline "Higher Mathematics" involves knowledge of mathematics in accordance with the general education school program, as well as successful mastering of the material of the 1st semester of the course.
Course content
The following sections of mathematical analysis are considered: differential and integral calculus of real functions of one and several variables; functional and power series; improper integrals and integrals with a parameter; Fourier series and Fourier integral; curvilinear and surface integrals, as well as elements of field theory. The basics of vector algebra and analytic geometry, linear algebra, the theory of differential equations, and the basics of probability theory are also considered.

Assessment methods and criteria
Control and evaluation of training results is carried out according to the modular rating system. In particular, the final 100-point grade is obtained according to the cumulative system as the sum of points for the current work (that is, for all modules (chapters) of the discipline provided by the program and for the colloquium) and points for the final written exam.
