Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Have thorough knowledge of the structure of professional activity. To be able to carry out professional activities that require updating and integration of knowledge. Understanding and knowledge of fundamental and clinical biomedical sciences at a level sufficient for solving professional tasks in the field of health care. PLO 21. Search for the necessary information in professional literature and databases, other sources, analyze, evaluate and apply this information.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Human anatomy", "Histology, cytology and embryology", "Medical chemistry", "Medical and biological physics", "Latin language and medical terminology". Independently apply knowledge of anatomy, cytology, chemistry, physics, etc. discipline, work with scientific and methodical literature. 2. Have the elementary skills of basic system analysis.
Course content
The knowledge obtained from the discipline "Fundamentals of neuroendocrine regulation of physiological functions" is the basis of the formation of skills that can be applied in the field of clinical medicine to substantiate clinical diagnosis, explain the peculiarities of the course of pathological processes, and solve diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical problems, tasks in other sciences (pharmacology, hygiene, etc.). Organization of study process is carried out in accordance to the credit transfer system under the requirements of the Bologna process.
