Learning outcomes
6. To identify, verify and summarize information on various contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using different sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies. 8. To interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, tо reasonably present conclusions regarding their content. 11. To carry out expert assessment of cultural objects according to the criteria set and to provide recommendations for their social actualization. 12. To substantiate, develop and implement cultural events and projects in compliance with the law according to the defined goals and objectives.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; main cultural theories and methods of cultural studies; basic cultural concepts and categories; foundations of law. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of culture, cultural processes and events; apply basic terms, categories of cultural studies and jurisprudence; 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, legal, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; the use of foreign language specialized cultural information sources.
Course content
Topic 1. The concept, system and main milestones in the history of copyright. Topic 2. Theories of copyright. Continental and Anglo-Saxon copyright systems. Dualistic and monistic models of copyright. Principles of copyright. The system and competence of state authorities in the field of copyright. Sources of copyright. Topic 3. Objects and subjects of copyright. Emergence of copyright. State registration of copyright. Topic 4. Personal non-property rights of authors of works of science, literature and art Topic 5. Intellectual property rights to the work Topic 6. Copyright restrictions. Copyright term Topic 7. Legal regulation of the activities of organizations of collective management of property rights of copyright subjects. Liability for copyright infringement

Independent work (study of the system, historical development, theories, principles and sources of copyright, the system and competence of state authorities in the field of copyright, a specific copyright institute (of the student's choice): 2 / 20 points 3. Test work: 9 / 15 points Final assessment in the form of credit.
