Learning outcomes
2. To analyze, comment and summarize scientific and analytical texts of cult. format. 4. To know and understand theor. approaches to definition of culture, its manif. and forms of existence. 5. To collect, organize and analyze inf. on cult. phenomena, events, hist. and cult. processes. 6. To identify, verify and summarize inf. on var. contexts of cultural practice, to determine the degree of their relevance using diff. sources, inf-n, comm-n tools and visual technologies. 10. To recognize and classify different types of cultural products, to determine their qualitative characteristics based on compr. analysis. 11. To carry out expert assessment of cult. objects according to the criteria set and to provide recomm. for their social actual-n. 12. To substantiate, develop and implement cult. events and projects in compliance with the law ac. to the defined goals and objectives. 13. To present knowledge about culture ac. to the spec-n of representatives of var. prof. groups and students.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena and phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply the basic terms, categories and classifications of culturology in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; 3. To possess basic skills of using the acquired knowledge and skills in research, teaching, cultural-organizational and cultural-educational work.

Part of the course 1. Creative economics. Cultural and creative industries. Creative economy. Mapping of cultural and creative industries. Creative economy in Ukraine: specifics and problems. Cultural policies. Social values in the creative economy. Creative business: concepts and its implementation. Part of the course 2. Urbanism. City, urbanism, urban studies. Urbanism and creative economy. Creative city: from theory to practice. Creative urbanism: perspectives, criticism, challenges in a pandemic. Urban planning in Ukrainian cities: experience and prospects.
