The student should know: the current state of the industry in the direction of the base's activity; professional information according to the direction of work of the practice base. The student must be able to: perform professional engineering work; draw conclusions based on the results of the work performed.

Full-time form

Educational practice is a mandatory educational component. It is held in the third year teaching. Educational practice involves the student's prior mastery of the full volume mandatory and optional educational components of the educational program chosen by him for the first two years of study.

Educational practice involves familiarizing students with the process of solving real problems programming, network and system administration in the field of computer engineering. Knowledge and practical skills that students will acquire during the internship can be applied at further education and future professional activity.

Practice can be carried out in various units of the Taras Shevchenko KNU and, in some cases, at enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership, types of economic activity, and organizational and legal status. Students can offer the department a place of practice. At the places of practice, a practice manager from the organization is appointed, whose main task is to advise and provide practical assistance at the place of practice. Students draw up a report on the basis of practice. Completed materials are submitted for review and approval to the head of practice from the educational institution. The practice report defended by the student is kept at the Department of Computer Engineering.

The report on educational practice should highlight the issues that were studied during the period of practice. A score rating system for evaluating students' knowledge on a 100-point national scale is used to evaluate the completion of educational practice. A student who has not completed the internship program for valid reasons may be granted the right to undergo practice again. A student who received a negative grade for practice for the second time will be expelled from the University.
