Prerequisites and co-requisites
For successful mastery of knowledge from
disciplines, students must: 1) successfully acquire knowledge from the courses "Tourism
local history", "Tourist local history", etc.; 2) have basic knowledge of physical geography,
economic and social geography, general geology, meteorology and climatology, basics
soil science and soil geography, biogeography, landscape science, etc.
Course content
The educational discipline involves familiarization with the theoretical foundations and
applied aspects of natural processes and regularities as one of the directions
anthropogenic landscape science; acquisition of recreational and landscape analysis skills
as one of the areas of applied landscape research. When studying the discipline, attention
is also devoted to the formation of important professional competences of the bachelor of tourism - skills
and the ability to plan and carry out research and report on their results, to act
professionally and tolerantly in various natural, socio-economic and ethno-cultural conditions,
preserving the natural and cultural heritage of Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course includes two content parts. Classes are held in the form of lectures
and practical classes. The discipline ends with a test. The maximum number of points,
which can be obtained on credit - 40 points on a 100-point scale. To receive
of the overall positive grade in the discipline, the credit score cannot be less than 24 points.
After completing the study of the relevant topics, a test review is conducted. Acquisition
students' knowledge and skills are also evaluated during the defense of the presentation, participation in
discussions and execution of a case assignment. Before the beginning of the examination session, students have
defend a presentation and complete a case assignment. Students who scored less in total
the number of points less than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points before the calculation is not
are allowed The recommended minimum for admission to the test is 36 points.
