Course content
The educational discipline "Actual problems of neurology" is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the "Master's" educational level under the "Medicine" educational program. "Current problems of neurology" is a selective discipline that studies more deeply the methods and techniques of clinical examination of a neurological patient for cerebrovascular pathology, specific infectious diseases of the nervous system that lead to a pronounced degree of disability, somatoneurological syndromes in case of damage to internal organs, neurodental diseases and neurointoxication. The study of the discipline takes place in two logical stages of mastering the main methods of neurological, instrumental and laboratory examination of the patient. after which students master the main symptoms and syndromes of cerebrovascular diseases, specific infectious diseases of the nervous system, neurostomatological diseases and the rules for establishing topical and clinical diagnoses. It is in this discipline that the emphasis is on rarer diseases of the nervous system.
