The comprehensive final exam in German philology and translation is conducted in an oral and written form, intending to establish the level of formation of students' professional knowledge and skills according to the curriculum and predefined criteria. The structure of the exam paper is determined by various types of theoretical and practical tasks within thematic blocks, including theoretical questions from linguistic disciplines, questions about foreign literature, linguistic-stylistic analysis of the text, written translation of a socio-political text from German into Ukrainian, and an interview on a given topic. Each type of task is assessed with a clearly defined number of points, totaling a maximum of 100 points.
